My name is Stacey Daniels and I have been teaching for 26 years. I graduated from Meredith College, right here in Raleigh, NC. I have three teaching certificates: a K-3 certificate in Early Childhood, and an Intermediate certificate for grades 4-9, and a certificate to teach Social Studies in grades 6-9. I also have a certificate to teach Academically Gifted children, as well as a Master's degree in Elementary Education. One day I hope to continue with my plan of earning a doctorate degree from my favorite university, Duke !!
I grew up in Winston-Salem and moved to Raleigh about 11 years ago. I have taught second grade for three years, third grade for three years, fourth for three years, and fifth grade for 15 years as of this year! I also taught a combination class of fourth and fifth graders at North Ridge Elementary School. Now I am thrilled to be teaching fourth grade at Lead Mine!!
I have two children. Lindsay is 15 and in the ninth grade and Madison (Maddie) is 12 and in the seventh grade. My girls attend Leesville Road High School and Leesville Road Middle School!!
I enjoy all outdoor sports, especially water sports, like water skiing, parasailing, and scuba diving! I also learned to hang glide and would love to take a tandem sky dive soon! I enjoy riding horses with my girls, too!
